When you register for the online training module, you’ll be asked to provide your name and email address. It’s important that you use your full name as it appears on your driver’s licence, so that DriveTest staff can verify that the information on your certificate matches the information on your driver’s licence.
After completing the module online, you will need to show your certificate of completion to staff at a DriveTest centre, in order to proceed with your renewal.
In order to access the Ministry of Transportation’s Air Brakes Refresher Training through SkillsPass, you are required verify your identity using an AI-powered identity verification solution called Veriff. You will need to take a photo of yourself and of your driver’s licence. This can be completed on a device and platform of your choice, as Veriff supports iOS, Android, and mobile web.
By registering for this training, you are asserting that you are the driver identified on the licence. Your certificate will be invalid if you make a false representation or attempt to alter the certificate in any way. Your certificate will have a QR code that can be used to validate your registration and completion information.
